Spice Creek is a Black-led regenerative farm in Brandywine, Maryland, dedicated to ecological land stewardship and increasing access to nutrient-dense food in the Mid-Atlantic. We grow vegetables, raise pasture-based poultry, and farm in ways that honor tradition, restore soil, and center community. Our mission is to deepen connections between people and the land by helping communities understand where food comes from and why it matters. We envision a regional foodshed where households source locally, eat seasonally, and strengthen cultural ties through shared meals. Located along the Patuxent River Corridor on the ancestral lands of the Piscataway Conoy Tribe, we are part of a broader agrarian effort focused on training farmers, food sovereignty, climate resilience, and economic equity.
