Sylvanaqua Farms is a 120-acre farm located near Washington, DC. It was founded by Chris Newman and his wife, Annie, in 2013. The farm produces pasture-raised chicken, eggs, and pork, as well as grass-fed beef 123. The farm’s mission is to make good food available to everyone, not just the wealthy, and to create a sustainable food system that is accessible to all. Sylvanaqua Farms is part of a group of food businesses working together to create a sustainable food supply chain in the Chesapeake Bay region.
